Reliability: Author-e BV. is ISO 27001 and NEN certified by Dekra. De product is hosted on servers supplied by an ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified hosting provider in the Netherlands. Your data is stored in a data centre redundant file cluster on three different servers in at least two separate data centres.
Privacy conscious: Author-e BV, as well as our hosting provider, act under Dutch laws. All data including privacy sensitive data is stored on cloud storage which is not subject to the Patriot Act.
Protection: The virtual server operating system is protected against threats from outside by firewall facilities which are updated frequently. Operating system software is updated according to the Microsoft supplier instructions. The servers are protected against malware and viruses.
The servers are secured using state-of-the-art technology, and can only be accessed with a user name/password. All communications between clients and the server are encrypted with an A rated* certificate which protect you against threats like Heartbleed, Poodle and Beast attacks.
